HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-006RESOLUTION 66-6 ACCEPTING A DEED WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, PAUL V. BIRNBAUM and KATHLEEN BIRNBAUM, husband and wife, and NEIL A. BIRNBAUM, a single man, have delivered to the City a deed dated December 15, 1965, conveying an easement for drainage purposes on the east side of the Southern Pacific Railroad, 574 feet, more or less, south of St. Gertrude Place, and a temporary construction easement at said location to expire not later than June 30, 1967, in consideration of the sum of $280.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 870598-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa Ana accepts said deed, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deed. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of January, 1966.
