EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE FOR THE EXCHANGE OF PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, after study, the COUNTY OF ORANGE and the CITY OF
SANTA ANA reached agreement providing for the joint acquisition and
development of a Government Center Area;
WHEREAS, it is now agreed that said COUNTY requires additional
area for the location, construction, and development of the COUNTY
Courthouse facility, an equal exchange of real property between
COUNTY and CITY has been agreed upon, and an Agreement has been
prepared setting forth the conditions of said exchange.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
CITY OF SANTA ANA hereby approves the Agreement hereinabove referred
to, dated January 17, 1966, and designated as "Project No: G.A. 401,
Project: Civic Center, Parcel No.: 196.1", and directs the Mayor and
the Clerk of the Council to execute the same for and on behalf of
the CITY OF SANTA ANA.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of January, 1966.
