HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-034RESOLUTION 66-34 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO OWNERS OF RECORD WHEREAS, heretofore, the owners of certain property located on the east side of Grand Avenue, and the south side of McFadden Avenue, dedicated vehicular access rights to the City and the present owners have now requested access rights to McFadden Avenue, which the City has determined should be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed quitclaiming IN SEVERALTY TO THE VARIOUS OWNERS OF THE UNDERLYING FEE, AS THEIR RESPECTIVE INTERESTS MAY APPEAR OF RECORD, all vehicular access rights to McFadden Avenue in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Ail vehicular access rights to McFadden Avenue over the Easterly 22.00 feet of the Westerly 70.00 feet of the following described property: Those portions of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 17, Township 5 South, Range 9 West, in the lands allotted to N. O. Stafford and C. Tustin and to F. W. Koll as described in the Final Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, which was entered September 12, 1868 in Book "B", page 410 of Judgments of the District Court of the Seventeenth Judicial District in and for Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: That land conveyed to the Southern California Edison Company by deed, dated April 5, 1960, and recorded in Book 5186, page 210, of Official Records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section 17, thence East 423.50 feet; thence North 991.29 feet parallel with the West line of said Section, to the monumented center line of McFadden Avenue as shown on a map filed in Book 29, Page 48, of Records of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence West 423.55 feet along said monumented center line to the West line of said Section; thence South 989.27 feet to the point of beginning, and deliver the same to the Clerk of the Council. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of March, 1966.
