We fully recognize that using this technology raises important legal and ethical considerations. Protecting privacy and constitutional rights remains a top priority, and our department is committed to ensuring that Magnet Forensics is only used in a manner consistent with the law. · Search Warrants & Legal Authorization – Detectives will only use this technology when a search warrant has been obtained as part of an active criminal investigation or when the device owner gives explicit consent. · Strict Legal Compliance – Our department adheres to all applicable digital rights protections, including Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable searches and seizures. · No Indiscriminate Data Access – This technology is not used for random searches or mass data collection.
