CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDEI~ATION
Wg~REAS, ARCADIO P. LOPEZ and JENNIE S. LOPEZ have executed
a deed dated February 28, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana
certain real property on the south side of Eighth Street and the
west side of English Street in consideration of the sum of
$11,750; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 873638-
hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, VICTOR F. MENDOZA and CONSUELO A. M~NDOZA have
executed a deed dated March 4, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa
Ana an easement for street purposes on the south side of Eighth
Street, east of Hawley Street, in consideration of the sum of
$2,890.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 873644-hrb with
First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana,California;
and
WHEREAS, TEXTRON INDUSTRIES, INC., a Delaware corporation,
successor to THE TOWNSEND COMPANY, a Pennsylvania corporation, has
executed a deed dated February 23, 1966, conveying to the City of
Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the south side of
Warner Avenue from Standard Avenue east to the Southern Pacific
Railroad right of way, in consideration of the sum of $5,485.00 and
certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow No. 873686-hrb with First American Title
Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California~ and
WHEREAS, FRANK L. MALDONADO and LUCILLE O. MALDONADOhave
executed a deed dated March 12, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa
Ana an easement for street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street,
east of Fairview Street, in consideration of the sem of $1,135.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City~ said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 874039-hrb with First American
Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREASa ANASTASIA B. LOPES has executed a deed dated March 12,
1966, conveying an easement for street purposes to the City of
Santa Ana on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Hawley Street,
in consideration,~of the sum of $1,075.00 and certain remedial work
to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 874007-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, ANASTASIA B. LOPEZ has executed a deed dated March 12,
1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for street
purl~)ses on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Hawley Street,
in consideration of the sum of $1,090.00 and certain remedial work
to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 874006-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHKREAS, PAUL DAVID VBLARDE and SALLY VELARDE have executed a
daed dated March 12, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an
easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, west
of Hawley Street, in consideration of the sum of $1,420.00 and
certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 874011-hrb with First American Title
Insur&nce and Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and

WHEREAS, LEOPOLDO E. SA~AGOSA and ANGELINA SARAGOSA have
executed a deed dated March 14, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa
Ana an easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth
Street, east of Fairview Street, in consideration of the sum of
$1,295,00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City~ said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874016-hrb with
First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California~
and
WHEREAS, ANDRES R. FLORES and ANGELINA T. FLORES have executed
a deed dated March 14, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an
easement for street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street,
east of Fairview Street, in consideration of the sum of $1,125.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City~ said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 874003-hrb with First American
Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha, California~ and
WHEREAS, JAMES ELLIS has executed a deed dated March 14, 1966,
conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on
the south side of Eighth Street, west of Hawley Street, in consideration
of the sum of $1,190.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
City~ said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874005-hrb
with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana,
California ~ and
WHEREAS, MARTIN MEND~OLAand GUADALUPEMENDIOLAhave executed
a deed dated March 15, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an
easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, west
of Hawley Street, in consideration of the sum of $1,465.00 and certain
remedial work to be done by the City~ said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 874012-hrb with Flrst American Title Insurance &
Trust Company, Santa Ana, California~ and
WHEREAS, LEE ESPINOZA and JESSIE ESPINOZA have executed a deed
dated March 15, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement
for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, west of
Hawley Street, in consideration of the sum of $2,220.00 and certain
remedial work to be done by the City= said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 874013-hrb with First American Title Insurance &
Trust Company, Santa Ana, California~ and
WHEREAS, ~OLD.~.~JOHNSON/~as executed a deed dated March 5,
1966, conveying tothe City of Santa Ana a parcel of real property
on the east side of Ross Street and the south side of Fifth Street
in consideration of the sum of $23,000.00~ said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 874059-hrb with First American Title
Insurance & ~rust Company, Santa Ana, California~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions~ that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of March, 1966.
