CORPORATION BOND NO. C-7048364
WHEREAS, National Surety Corporation, as surety for Great
Western Reclamation, Inc., filed a bond in the amount of $200,000
to satisfy the requirements of Paragraph D of Section 3 of the
Specifications for Refuse Collection Services dated June 17, 1963,
which was for the sole purpose of guaranteeing faithful performance
of the contract awarded by the City for the collection of refuse
within the City, effective date of November 1, 1963, which said
bond was continued in effect to October 31, 1965, on an annual basis;
and
WHEREAS, said bond has now been replaced by Bond No. 212639
by National Automobile and Casualty Insurance Company for a period
of twelve months, beginning November 1, 1965.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That National Surety
corporation Bond NO. C-7-48364 is hereby terminated and released
because the same has been superseded by a different bond.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That there was no cessation of service
during the period from November 1, 1963, through October 31, 1965,
and no reason for any claim under said bond.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21s% day of ,Mar~ , 1966.
