IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, EVELYN ZOE RIGGLE, as Executrix of the Estate of
Maurice Poublon, has executed a deed dated December 17, 1965, conveying
to the City an easement for street purposes on the north side of
Eighth Street, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the sum of
$1,055.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53604-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, PEDRO NAJERA and ANTONIA NAJERA have delivered to the
City a deed dated March 17, 1966, conveying an easement for street
purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street,
in consideration of the sum of $945.00 and certain remedial work to
be done bY the City; said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 874025-HRB with First American Title Insurance & Trust
Cempany, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, POMPOSO R. REYES and MARY C. REYES have executed a
deed dated March 17, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for street
purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street,
in consideration of the sum of $900.00 and certain remedial work to be
done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 874020-HRB with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, MARGARITA SIERRA JIMINEZ has executed a deed dated
March 17, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for street purposes
on the north side of Eighth Street, west of Hawley Street, in
consideration of the sum of $1,290.00 and certain remedial work to be
done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 874014-hrb with First American Title Insurance a Trust Company;
and
WHEREAS, TONY PEREZ and DELLA PEREZ have executed a deed dated
March 17, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for street purposes
on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street, in
consideration of the sum of $2,530.00 and certain remedial work to
be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 874033-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, ROSARIO SEBREROS and LUPE SEBREROS have executed a
deed dated M~rch 18,1966, conveying to the City an easement for street
purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street,
in consideration of the sum of $2,630.00 and certain remedial work to
be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 874031-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, ROGER GONZALEZ and JENNY GONZALEZ have executed a
deed dated March 18, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for street
purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street,
in consideration of the sum of $3,010.00 and certain remedial work to
be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 874019-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, GEORGE PERRY FISHER and VICTORIA G. FISHER have
executed a deed dated March 18, 1966, conveying to the City an easement
for street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, east of
Fairview Street, in consideration of the sum of $1,160.00 and certain
remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 874038-hrb with First American Title
Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and

WHEREAS, ROGER P. GONZALEZ, JENNY O. GONZALEZ, JOSUE ORTIZ, JR.,
and EVA G. ORTIZ have executed a deed dated March 19, 1966, conveying
to the City an easement for street purposes on the south side of
Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street, in consideration of the sum
of $2,520.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874028-hrb with
First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California;
and
WHEREAS, PETRA DIAZ BOJORQUEZ has executed a deed dated
March 23, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
north side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street, in consideration
of the sum of $1,140.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874023-HRB
with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, C. A. SHIVES has executed a deed dated March 23, 1966,
conveying an easement for street purposes on the south side of Eighth
Street, east of Fairview Street, in consideration of the sum of
$2,465.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874035-hrb with
First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California;
and
WHEREAS, FERNANDOCAST~J~EDACHAVEZ, DOLORES FRIETZE CHAVEZ,
and SOCORRO F. CHAVEZ have executed a deed dated March 25, 1966,
conveying easements for street purposes on the north side of Eighth
Street, west of Hawley Street, in consideration of the sum of
$1,875.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874010-hrb with
First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of April, 1966.
