PLANNING COMMISSION AND DENYING VARIANCE ON
APPLICATION V.A. 2176, FILED BY WILLIAM ROHRBACHER
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning
Co~amission granted a variance on application V.A. 2176, filed by
WILLIAM ROHRBACHER to permit the use of an R-1 lot at 1715 North
Flower Street, Santa Ana, California, for off-street parking; and
WHEREAS, Appeal Application NO. 175 was duly filed by
EMANUEL H. FINK appealing the decision of the Planning Commission
to grant said Variance and requesting a hearing before the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, a motion to uphold
the decision of the Planning Commission in granting said Variance
was defeated and the Mayor declared said Variance denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana does hereby overrule the decision of the Planning
Commission and a variance on application V.A. 2176 is hereby DENIED.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of May, 1966.
