MAYWOOD AVEAIUE RIGHT OF WAY LYING EAST OF YALE STREET
WHEREAS, on recmumendation of the Planning Commission and the
Department of Public Works, Resolution 66-73 was adopted giving notice
of intention to vacate street right of way herein described and giving
notice of public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held on both published
and posted notices as required by law and, after hearing~ the City
Council determined that said right of way should be vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana hereby finds that certain street right of way known
as Maywood Avenue, east of Yale Street, is unnecessary for present or
prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning
and vacating for street purposes that certain right of way in the City
of Santa Ana~ County of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of Tract No. 3236 as shown on map recorded in Book
189, Pages 23 through 27, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps~ records
of Orange County, California shorn as "Maywood Avenue", lying
easterly of the Southerly prolongation of the tangent portion of
the westerly line of Lot 32 of said Tract No. 3236.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of August, 1966.
