OBJECTIONS TO REPORT OF STREET SUPERINTENDENT,
APPROVING REPORT AND ORDERING A COPY THEREOF
FILED WIT~ THE TAX COLLECTOR
WHEREAS, the City Council of tke City of Santa Ana did, on
March 21, 1966, pass Resolution 66-41 determining and declaring that
weeds which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and which attain
such a large growth as to become a fife menace when dry and which are
noxious and dangerous were growing upon the streets, sidewalks and
private property in the City of Santa Aha, described in the itemized
report submitted therewith; and
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1966, the City Council adopted
Resolution 66-57 ordering the Street Superintendent of the City of
Santa Ana to abate such public nuisance; and
WHEREAS, said Street Superintendent has given notice as
required by law, in which notice the first day of August, 1966, at
the hour of 7:30 P.M. was fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers
of the City Hall of the City of Santa Ana as the place where any and
all persons interested in the said report might be heard; and
WHEREAS, at the time set, the Street Superintendent having
submitted the said report and all of said protests or Objections to
said report having been hear4,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha that all Of said protests or objections to the said report
of the work done be, and the same are, hereby overruled and the
report affirmed and that the Street Superintendent be, and he is,
hereby directed to file a copy of said report with the Tax collector
of Orange County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of August, 1966.
