3 AND 3.1 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281
WHEREAS, On November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted
Resolution No. 58-281 revising and establishing the Basic Compensation
Plan for employees of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended this
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to assign new schedule numbers to the
class titles and to add certain classes and attendant numbers to the list
of titles in Section 3, and to change some rates set out in Section 3.1
of said Resolution No. 58-281;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No.
58-281 is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 3: Allocation of Classes of Employment to Salary and Wa~e
Schedules. Classes of employment shall be allocated to salary amd wage
schedules as follows:

*Any Patrolman assigned to duty on a two-wheeled motorcycle shall
receive extra compensation for any month during which the major portion
of his duty involves the riding of such motorcycle, and any Patrolman
assigned to duty as an Investigator shall receive extra compensation for
any month in which the major portion of his duty has been so assigned.
The extra compensation in each case shall be, in addition to the regular
scheduled pay, the sum of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) per month.
**Any person employed in the class of Plan Checking Engineer who is
not registered in the State of California as a Civil Engineer shall be
paid in Schedule 65.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That Section 3.1 of Resolution No. 58-281
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 3.1: Part-Time and Temporary Rates. Mart-Time and temporary
employees under the following class titles shall receive wages based on the
rates set opposite the class title:

BE IT ~ RESOLYED: That all other Resolutions amend~
Sections 3 and 3.1 of the Resolution No.~8-281 are declared to be
supersede~, rescinde~ and repealed By this Resolution.
BE IT ~1~£~ RESOLVE~: That this Resolution shall take effect
as of the 1st day of September, 1~.

at its regalar meeting held on the 6th day of September 1966.
