THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA and RAYMOND M. ZAMORA have executed a deed dated
April 7, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on the south side of
Eighth Street and west of Hawley Street, in consideration of the sum of $1,085.00
and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 874036-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA and RODOLFO LICERIO and STELLA LICERIO have executed a
deed dated August 4, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on the north
side of Eighth Street and east of Fairview Street, in consideration of the stun of
$920.00 and certain remedial work robe done by the City; said transaction to be
handled through Escrow No. 87407. l-hrb with First American Title Insurance &
Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, AUGUSTINA QUINTANA has executed a deed dated August 15,
1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on the east side of Halladay Street
and south of Flora, in consideration of the sum of $224.51; said transaction to be
handled through Escrow No. 54546-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
Santa Aha, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa Aha accepts said
deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his
Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its
regular meeting held on the 6th day of September , 1966
