HomeMy WebLinkAbout67-015RESOLUTION NO. 67-15 GRANTING EASEMENT TO WIDEN CAMBRIDGE STREET TO WIDTH OF FOR~ FEET, CENTERLINE TO PROPERTY LINE, A/~D COMPLETING CUL-DE-SAC ON CONCORD STREET, AND EXCEPTING VEHICULAR ACCESS RIGHTS WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has received a C.U.P. to erect a water reservoir and pumping station in an A-1 district; and WHEREAS, an an adjunct to said construction, the city is to open three single family lots on Concord Street south of the Garden Grove Freeway; and WHEREAS, one of the conditions of the approval by the Planning Commission was "That an easement be provided for Cambridge Street for a width of 40 feet, centerline to property line, and for Concord Street as necessary to complete the cul-de-sac, for street purposes and vehicular access rights to Cambridge Street except at approved drives"; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, in fulfillment of the condition above related, that the following described property be declared a portion of Cambridge Street: PARCEL 1 An easement for street purposes over the easterly 40.00 feet of that portion of the northeast quarter of Lot 14 in Block D of the A. B. Chapman Tract as surveyed by Frank Lecouvreur in 1870, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 102, page 15 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, lying southerly of the following described line: Commencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 14; thence along the east line of said Lot 14, north 0° 55' 4~" east 882.98 feet to the true point of beginnin~ of this description; thence at right angles north 89 04' 19" west 40.00 feet; thence south 73° 28' 12" west to the westerly line of said northeast quarter of Lot 14. Excepting therefrom that portion previously dedicated for street purposes. Reserving all vehicular access rights to and from Cambridge Street to and from the lands lying westerly of Parcel 1 above described, excepting therefrom the northerly 18.00 feet of the southerly 118.00 feet. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the following described property be declared a portion of Concord Street: PARCEL 2 An easement for street purposes over that portion of the northeast quarter of Lot 14 in Block D of the A. B. Chapman Tract as surveyed by Frank Lecouvreur in 1870, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 102, page 15 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the south line of the northeast quarter of said Lot 14, distant 396.69 feet westerly from the east line of said lot 14, said point being the intersection of the east line of Concord Street with the north boundary of Tract Number 4890, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 200, pages 42 and 43 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence south 89° 57' 00" west along said north boundary of Tract 4890, a distance of 98.99 feet, to a point on the west line of Concord Street, and to a point on a non tangent curve concave southerly having a radius of 49.50 feet, the radial to said curve at said point bears, south 89° 57' 00" west; thence northerly, easterly and southerly along said curve, through a central angle of 180° 00' 00", an arc distance of 155.49 feet to the point of beginning. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of February, 1967.
