THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, ANTONIA G. MATTILA, a widow, has executed a deed
dated March 13, 1967, conveying to the City an easement for
street purposes located on the south side of Eighth Street and
the west side of Artesia Street, in consideration of the sum of
$1,445.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City at
said location; said transaction to be handled through Escrow No.
873640-hrb with the First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
Santa Aha, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the City of
Santa Ana accepts said deed, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's
designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of
Acceptance on said deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of March,
1967.
