COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
EXPRESSING OPPOSITION TO PROPOSED
SENATE BILL NO. 447
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has
become aware of the nature and content of Senate Bill No. 447;
and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that the proposed
Senate Bill No. 447 is presently designed to meet very special
and unusual situations; and
WHEREAS, the particular problem sought to be met by Senate
Bill No. 447 appears to this Council to indicate that laws
respecting the incorporation of Municipalities may need revision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana hereby expresses its opposition to
Senate Bill No. 447.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of
April, 1967.
