THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, OPAL JAM~S, an unmarried woman, has executed a deed
dated March 31, 1967, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an ease-
ment for street purposes on the north side of Pomona Street and on
the west side of Van Ness Avenue; and
WHEREAS, BERNADETTE INVESTMENT INC., a California corporation,
has executed a deed dated March 28, 1967, conveying to the City of
Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the north side of
Edinger Avenue, west of Newhope Street, and vehicular access rights
to Edinger Avenue; and
WHEREAS, GULF OIL CORPORATION, a Pennsylvania corporation,
has executed a deed dated April 5, 1967, conveying to the City
of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the north side
of Edinger Avenue and the west side of Newhope Street, and vehi-
cular access rights to Edinger Avenue and Newhope Street.
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his certificate of acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of April, 1967.
