HomeMy WebLinkAbout67-063RESOLUTION 67-63 CONCERNING TRAFFIC ON TENTH STREET BETWEEN BIRCH STREET AND BROADWAY AND PROHIBITING PARKING IN SAID AREA W~EREAS, the County garage and other parking facilities discharge large numbers of vehicles into Tenth Street between 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. each week day; and WHEREAS, this traffic now experiences much delay in moving into or across Broadway due to being restricted to a single lane; and WHEREAS, the 33-foot pavement width does not permit an additional lane for traffic without removal of parking; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Tenth Street between Birch Street and Broadway shall be marked for two lanes of eastbound traffic and one lane of westbound traffic, and that parking be forbidden at all times at the north curb and between 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. at the south curb. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of May, 1967.
