TEI{RITORY DESIGNATED "SILVEt{ DRIVE WEST AI~NEX"
TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, on May 15, 1967, the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha declared its intention to annex uninhabited territory by
Resolution 67-65, which said Resolution found and declared that said
annexation proceeding was initiated by a petition therefor signed by
the owners of all of the territory proposed to be annexed, and which
said Resolution was published in accordance with the requirements of
Government Code Section 35310.1 setting the protest hearing for
June 5, 1967, a date upon which a regular meeting of the City Council
was scheduled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said City Council hereby
finds and declares that no protest was received from any owner of
property within the City; that said territory was uninhabited on
May 15, 1967, and was contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; that all
of the statements hereinabove and in Resolution 67-65 are true and
correct, and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any
indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the
County of Orange, State of California, and described as:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block B of Tract
NO. 336, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, page 23, of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
said point being the southeast corner of "Annexation No. 77"
to the City of Garden Grove as adopted by Garden Grove City
Ordinance 292-A, said point lying on the Westerly line of the
"West Santa Ana Annex" to the City of Santa Aha as adopted by
Santa Ana City Ordinance NS-367, said point being the southeast
corner of that certain parcel of land as shown on a survey
recorded in Book 38, page 49, Records of Surveys, in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence North
0" 29' 15" West along said City boundary of the City of Santa Ana
a distance of 264.00 feet to the Northeast corner of said Record
of survey and to the northeast corner of that certain parcel of
land de-annexed by the City of Garden Grove by Resolution
No. 3300-67, dated March 7, 1967; thence departing from said
City boundary of Santa Ana South 89" 24' 00" West along the
Northerly line of said parcel of land de-annexed by the City of
Garden Grove a distance of 165.00 feet to the northwest corner
of said Record of Survey and to an angle point in said parcel of
land de-annexed by the City of Garden Grove; thence South
0" 29' 15" East along the westerly line of said parcel of land
de-annexed by the City of Garden Grove a distance of 264.00 feet
to the Southwest corner of said Record of Survey and to the
Southerly line of said "Annexation No. 77" to the City of Garden
Grove and to an angle point in said parcel of land de-annexed by
the City of Garden Grove; thence North 89° 24' 00" East along the
Southerly line of said parcel of land de-annexed by the City of
Garden Grove and along the southerly line of said "Annexatioh
No. 77" to the City of Garden Grove a distance of 165.00 feet to
the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Ana and to
Ward No. 7 in said City, and said annexation is by this Resolution
effected and declared. For the purpose of tax segregation of this
annexation, the designation that applies is "Santa Ana City--1957 and
1958 Annexes".
