HomeMy WebLinkAbout67-087RESOLUTION 67-87 IN SUPPORT OF PROPOSALS ADVANCED BY THE SOUTH MAIN IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION REGARDING FREEWAY SIGNS DESIGNATING THE CITY OF SANTA ANA~ WHEREAS, for some years there has been grave concern on the part of the South Main Improvement Association relative to the inadequacy of freeway signs indicating access roads to the City of Santa Aha; and WHEREAS, an adequate standard of sign utilization is em- ployed on the nearby Santa Ana Freeway, which standard, if utilized as well on the Newport Freeway, would obviate the existing difficulties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana support the position asserted by the South Main Improvement Association to the Division of Highways of the State of California that the present sign techniques employed in and adjacent to the City of Santa Ana be improved to the standard presently in use on the Santa Ana Freeway.
