THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, HELEN E. APPLEBURy, has executed a deed dated
June 16, 1967, conveying to the City an easement for sewer purposes
on Huylar's Lane, north of Fifth Street, in consideration of the
sum of $1,600.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City
at said location; said transaction to be handled through Escrow
No. 875012-HL with the First American Title Insurance and Trust
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, FERRELL C. RYAN and BETTY VIRGINIA RYAN have
executed a deed dated June 17, 1967, conveying to the City an
easement for sewer purposes 600' south of Hazard Avenue and west
of Morse Drive, in consideration of the sum of $250.00 and certain
remedial work to be done by the City at said location; said trans-
action to be handled through Escrow No. 875017-HL with the First
American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, KENNETH M. KHUZEL and KATHLEENA. KRUZEL, have
executed a deed dated June 17, 1967, conveying to the City an
easement for sewer purposes 600' south of Hazard Avenue and west
of Morse Drive, in consideration of the sum of $305.00 and certain
remedial work to be done by the City at said location, said trans-
action to be handled through Escrow No. 875019-HL with the First
American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, PAUL C. PHILLIPS, has executed a deed dated May 8,
1967, conveying to the City a parcel of real property and an easement
for street purposes on the north side of First Street and west of
Baker Street, in consideration of the sum of $11,945.00; said trans-
action to be handled through Escrow No. 874918-HRB with the First
American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, HELEN H. RANDALL WIGHT and ELEANOR M. RANDALL GRAND,
have executed deeds dated January 16, 1967 and June 26, 1967
respectively conveying to the City easements for street purposes on
the north side of Seventeenth Street and the west side of Santiago
Street, in consideration of the sum of $22,215.00, said transaction
to be handled through Escrow No. 874474-HRB with the First American
Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of July, 1967.
