THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY FOR WHICH THE CITY
IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION OF $50.00
WHEREAS, SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY, a corporation of the
State of Delaware, has submitted an indenture to the City which
will convey an easement for water main purposes at Forest Avenue,
off Alton Avenue and west of Bristol Street in consideration of
the sum of $50.00 to be paid to Southern Pacific Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The Mayor and the Clerk of
the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
indenture; and to return the same to Southen%Pacific Company for
execution, and, upon execution by the Southern Pacific Company, that
the City will accept said indenture; and that Carl J. Thornton, the
City's designated agent is directed to place his Certificate of
Acceptance on said indenture.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of July, 1967.
