THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, the CITY OF TUSTIN, a municipal corporation, has
executed a quitclaim deed dated July 14, 1967, conveying to the
City real property on the south side of McFadden Avenue and west
of the Newport Freeway; and
WHERE~S, SOUTHERN SERVICE COMPANY, a corporation, successor by
merger to Blue Seal Laundry Company and Southern Service Company, Ltd.,
has executed a deed dated July 13, 1967, conveying to the City an
easement for street purposes on the north side of Fourth Street,
Santa Fe to Eastwood, and vehicular access rights at said location; and
WHEREAS, RONA_LD M. BUCK and LEONE R. BUCK, husband and wife,
CHARLES HERBERT SEARS and FLORENCE M. SEARS, husband and wife, and
WILLIAM L. HAIRSTON, an unmarried man, have executed a deed dated
March 27, 1967, conveying to the City an easement for street purposes
on the north side of Santa Clara Avenue and west of Tustin Avenue,
and vehicular access rights at said location; and
WHEREAS, HODGES BUILDING CORPORATION, a California corporation,
has executed a quitclaim deed dated July 27, 1967, conveying to the
City vehicular access rights on the north side of McFadden Avenue,
west of Grand Avenue; and
WHEREAS, GEORGE P. KINKLE, WILLIAM B.RODIGER, DAVID W. GRAF,
DONALD H. DEWBERRY and EVERETT L. SPRIGGS, all married men as their
separate property, have executed a deed dated August 1, 1967,
conveying to the City an easement for street purposes on the east
side of Ross Street, south of Tenth Street; and
WHEP~EAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds; and that Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is hereby directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance
on said deeds.
