R~ EIGHTEENTH AND TWENTY-FIRST STREETS AND PROHIBITING PARKING IN SAID AREA WHEREAS, Bristol Street is one of the more heavily travelled streets in the City of Santa Aha and carries increasing volumes of traffic; and WHEREAS, the frequency of collisions occurring on Bristol Street in the area lying between Eighteenth and Twenty-First Streets is relatively high; and WHEREAS, the installation of left turn storage lanes in conjunction with the removal of curbside parking is effective in reducing the frequency of this type of accident; NOW, THEREFOP~E, BE IT RESOLVED: That Bristol Street be provided left turn storage lanes in the area lying between Eighteenth and Twenty-First Streets and that parking on Bristol Street be prohibited on the east side of Bristol Street from 100 feet north of Eighteenth Street to 150 feet north of Twenty-First Street and on the west side of Bristol Street from 120 feet south of Twenty-First Street to 150 feet north of Twenty-First Street.
