OF FIRST STREET FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH
CONSIDERATION
WHEP~E3~S, B. TRUMAN M3%RTIN, a single man, has executed a deed
dated September 1, 1967, conveying to the City of Santa Aha a parcel
of real property at the northwest corner of First and Shelton Streets
in consideration of the sum of $63,000; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 55170-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, MILDRED M. MC CAT~. has executed a deed dated
September 9, 1967, conveying to the City of Santa Aha a parcel of
real property on the north side of First Street, west of Broadway,
in consideration of the sum of $38,000.00; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 875368-hrb with First American Title
Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of September, 1967.
