DEED TO OWNERS OF RECORD WITH NO CASH
CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, heretofore, the owners of certain property located
on the south side of Edinger Avenue, west of Grand Avenue, dedicated
vehicular access rights to the City, and the present owners have
now requested access rights to Edinger Avenue, which the City has
determined should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk
of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed
quitclaiming IN SEVERALTY TO THE VARIOUS OWNERS OF THE UNDERLYING
FEE AS THEIR RESPECTIVE INTERESTS MAY APPEAR OF RECORD, the following
described real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange,
State of California:
Ail vehicular access rights to Edinger Avenue over the
Westerly 40.00 feet of the Easterly 172.50 feet of that
portion of land allotted to Frederick W. Koll, as described
in the Final Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de
Santa Ana, which was entered September 12, 1868 in Book "B"
page 410 of Judgments of the District Court of the 17th
Judicial District in and for Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Edinger Avenue,
104.00 feet in width, as described in Parcel 2 of the Deed
to the City of Santa Ana, recorded October 27, 1965 in
Book 7717, page 761 of Official Records; said point being
North 89° 23' 05" West, 305.00 feet from the point of
intersection of said centerline with the centerline of
Grand Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, as shown on a map of Tract
4471, recorded in Book 211, pages 5 through 8 inclusive
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
said point also being the Northwest corner of the land
described in the deed to E. Lee Schultz and wife, recorded
September 14, 1966 in Book 8047, page 519 of Official
Records; thence South 0° 33' 35" West parallel with said
centerline of Grand Avenue along the Westerly line of said
land of E. Lee Schultz, and its Southerly prolongation, a
distance of 463.82 feet; to a point in the South line of
the land described in Parcel 1 of the deed to T. R. Bolte
Development Inc., and others, recorded May 20, 1965 in
Book 7527, page 500 of Official Records; thence North
89° 25' 19" West along said South line, 305.00 feet; thence
North 0° 33' 35" East parallel with said centerline of Grand
Avenue 464.01 feet to aopoint on the centerline of Edinger
Avenue; thence South 89 23' 05" East, 305.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
and deliver the same to the Clerk of the Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of December, 1967.
