OF FIRST STREET FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING A
CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, WILLIAM H. SAUNDERS, JR. and MARCIA E. SAUNDERS have
executed a deed dated December 18, 1967, conveying to the City of
Santa Ana a parcel of real property on the north side of First Street,
west of Sycamore Street, in consideration of the sum of $36,566.00;
said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 55352-C with
Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, LOIS KELLY has executed a deed dated December 13,
1967, conveying to the City of Santa Aha an easement for street
purposes at the southeast corner of First and Birch Streets in
consideration of the sum of $540.00; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 55393-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, MARY FRANCES LONG, also known as Mary F. Long, has
executed a deed dated December 8, 1967, conveying to the City of
Santa Ana easements for street purposes on the southeast corner of
First Street and Broadway and on the southwest corner of First and
Sycamore Streets in consideration of the sum of $1,945.00; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 55394-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, McLEAN MOTOR COMPANY, a corporation, has executed a
deed dated December 8, 1967, conveying to the City of Santa Aha a
parcel of real property on the north side of First Street, west of
Bush Street, in consideration of the sum of $37,400.00; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 55388-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, CLEO NEAL SHARP, a widow, and CLARA HILL, a widow,
have executed a deed dated December 22, 1967, conveying to the City
of Santa Ana a parcel of real property on the north side of First
Street, east of Shelton Street, in consideration of the sum of
$14,250.00; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 55399-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha,
California; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.!
