WIDENING OF FIRST STREET FOR WHICH THE
CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, WILLIAM E. MARSH and HELEN ClRAWFORD MARSH, husband
and wife, have executed a deed dated January 11, 1968, conveying
to the City a parcel of real property on the north side of First
Street and the east side of Sycamore, for which the City is paying
a cash consideration of $37,600.00; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow Number 875512-HRB with First A~uerican Title
Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, SANTORA COMPANY, a Corporation, has executed a
deed dated January 19, 1968, conveying to the City easements for
street purposes on the north side of First Street, east of
Broadway, for which the City is paying a cash consideration of
$38,700.00; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
Number 55353-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
california;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February, 1968.
