THE CITY OF SANTA ANA EXPRESSING ITS
OPPOSITION TO AB 310, AB 741 and ACk 33
Wt~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has become
aware of the provisions of AB 310, AB 741, and ACk 33; and
WHEREAS, the City Council feels the passage of any one of these
measures would be detrimental to good government;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana is opposed to AB 310, AB 741, and ACk 33, and urges
that these bills not be adopted and that the amendment not be effected
by reason of the fact that government would not be thereby improved,
but rather would be hindered and made more expensive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That copies of this Resolution be
forwarded to our legislators.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of April, 1968.
