URGING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO CHANGE
THE NAME OF LANE ROAD TO MAIN STREET
WHEREAS, at or about the time of the construction of the
New-port Freeway South Main Street was realigned to curve South-
easterly; and
WHEI{EAS, by virtue of said realignment Main Street at its
Southern extremity, Easterly of the said Newport Freeway, connected
with Lane Road; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable that Main Street and its
continuation throughout its entire length to Culver Road bear the
same street name.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana urges that the name of Lane Road as it now exists
between a point Easterly of the Newport Freeway and Culver Road be
changed to Main Street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of April, 1968.
