RUNNING EAST FROM BRISTOL STREET TO SEGERSTROM
AVENUE AND RESERVING A SEWER EASEMENT THEREIN
WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works
and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, Resolution
68-5.7 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate that certain
right of way herein described, reserving therein an easement for
sewer purposes; and
WHEREAS, on May 6, 1968 public hearing was duly held on said
vacation on posted notices and the publication of said Resolution
68-57;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that that certain alley lying
easterly from Bristol Street to Segerstrom Avenue is unnecessary
for present or prospective street purposes and does hereby make its
order abandoning and vacating for alley purposes that certain right
of way in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, described as:
Commencing at the intersection of the center lines of Bristol
Street and San Lorenzo Avenue as shown on a map filed in Book 85,
Page 6, of Record of Surveys in the office of the Recorder of
Orange County, California, and running thence South 89° 21' 36"
East along the center line of said San Lorenzo Avenue 60.00 feet;
thence South 00° 54' 04" West 20.00 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence North 45° 46' 14" East 14.18 feet; thence
South 89v 21' 36" East 393.06 feet; thence North 09~ 07' 29" East
33.46 feet to a point on a non tangent curve concave Northwesterly
having a radius of 200.00 feet, the radial to said curve at said
point bears North 20° 12' 39" West; thence Southwesterly along
said curve through a central angle of 20" 51' 03" an arc distance
of 72.78 feet to a tangent line that is parallel with and 10.00
feet northerly, measured at right angles, from said center line
of San Lorenzo Avenue; thence North 89" 21' 36" West along said
parallel line 326.72 feet; thence North 44" 13' 45" West 14.11
feet; thence South 00~ 54' 04" West 40.00 feet to the true point
of beginning. RESERVING AN EASEMENT for sanitary sewer purposes
over the above-described property.
