CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, SINCLAIR INVESTMENT COMPANY, a partnership, has
executed a deed dated June 18, 1~68, conveying to the City of Santa
Ana easements for street purposes on the north side of Seventeenth
Street and the east side of Spurgeon Street, for which the City is
paying a cash consideration of $12,666.00; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow Number 55696-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, JEANNE ELBERTA TIBBETS, as Executrix of the Estate of
ELBERT I. BLOWER, Deceased, has executed a deed dated July 2, 1968,
conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes
on the south side of Seventeenth Street and the east side of Rosewood,
for which the City is paying a cash consideration of $5,779.00; said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow Number 463106-VH with Title
Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Aha, California, and in accordance
with the terms of the agreement attached thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 1968.
