HomeMy WebLinkAbout68-116RESOLUTION 68-116 ADOPTING PRECISE STREET ALIGNMENT OF EIGHTH STREET BETWEEN BIRCH AND MORTIMER STREETS AS SHOWN ON ALTERNATE ROUTE NO. 1 WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning Commission has recommended, by its Resolution No. 5842, that Alternate Route No. 1 between Birch Street and Mortimer Street be adopted for the convenience and general welfare of the people of the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, after public hearing before the City Council, on notice as required by law, said Council determined that the recommendation of the Planning Commission be adopted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds and determines that the public interest, necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that a precise plan of street alignment of Eighth Street, between Birch and Mortimer Streets, be established, and said Council hereby adopts the street alignment plan of said street as shown on a drawing entitled "EIGHTH STREET EXTENSION, ALTERNATE ~1", copies of which said drawing are on file in the Department of Public Works and in the Planning Department of the City of Santa Ana for inspection by the public. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of August, 1968.
