THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, CALVIN G. ROHRS, has executed a deed dated July 12,
1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for street
purposes on the north side of 17th Street, west of Grand Avenue; and
WHEREAS, ROHRS INVESTMENT COMPANY, a limited partnership, has
executed a deed dated May 17, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana
vehicular access rights on the north side of 17th Street and west side
of Grand Avenue; and
WHEREAS, HARTFIELD-ZODYS, INC., a Delaware corporation, and
ROHRS INVESTMENT COMPANY, a limited partnership, have executed a deed
dated July 1, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement
for potable water main purposes north of 17th Street and west of
Grand Avenue; and
WHEREAS, PACIFIC INVESTMENTS, a partnership, has executed a
deed dated July 30, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement
for street purposes on Grovemont and the west side of Grand Avenue, and
vehicular access rights to Glassell Street; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration
being paid to said grantors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of August, 1968.
