THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, STEVE DENHAM and RUBY DENHAM, husband and wife, have
executed a deed dated July 26, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana
a parcel of real property on the north side of First Street, 200 feet
east of Baker Street, for which the City is paying a cash consideration
of $13,600; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No.
55770-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
and
WHEREAS, FLORA O. FORSHkY, an unmarried woman, RAYMOND L. FORSHAY,
a married man, and GLADYS Eo WOODWORTH, a married woman, have executed
a deed dated July 24, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana a parcel
of real property on the north side of First Street, 350 feet west of
Olive, for which the City is paying a cash consideration of $14,200;
said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 55768-C with
Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrown instructions; that the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds, and Carl J. %~hornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of August, 1968.
