THE TAX COLLECTOR OF ORANGE COUNTY CONVEYING
TAX TITLE TO PROPEI{TY NORTH OF McFADDEN AVENUE
AND WEST OF MINNIE STREET FOR WHICH THE CITY IS
PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION OF $25.00
WHEREAS, at the request of the City of Santa Ana that the
property hereinbelow described not be sold for taxes since the same
is needed by the City for right of way purposes, procedures were
established to sell said property to the City of Santa Ana and have
now been completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts the indenture presented by Don S. Mozley, Tax Collector of
Orange County, California, and dated July 24, 1968, granting to the
City of Santa Ana the parcel of land shown thereon and described as
follows:
A.P. ~11-251-36
That portion of Lot A in Tract No. 2437,
as per map thereof recorded in Book 109,
Pages 39 and 40 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, lying between
the Westerly prolongation of the Northerly
and Southerly lines of Lot 5 of said Tract
in consideration of the sum of $25.00;
and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place
his Certificate of Acceptance on said deed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is
hereby directed to deliver said deed, together with a certified copy
of this Resolution, to the County Recorder of Orange County for
recording.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of August, 1968.
