GERTRUDE PLACE BETWEEN STANDARD AVENUE AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD W~_EREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public Works and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, Resolution 68-137 was adopted giving notice of intention to vacate that certain portion of St. Gertrude Place lying between Standard Avenue and the Southern Pacific Railroad; and WHEREAS, on October 7, 1968, public hearing was duly held on said vacation on posted notices and the publication of said Resolution 68-137; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the city of Santa Ana hereby finds that that certain portion of St. Gertrude Place lying between Standard Avenue and the Southern Pacific Railroad in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: That portion of the South 5.00 feet of St. Gertrude Place (70.00 feet wide), as shown on a map of Tract 696, recorded in Book 20, Pages 45 and 46 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder, County of Orange, State of California, bounded Easterly by the Northerly prolongation of the East line of Block E in said Tract 696 and bounded Westerly by the Northerly prolongation of the West line of the East 173.00 feet of said Block E, is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning and vacating the same for street purposes. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of 0~tober,_ 19~68.
