OF FIRST STREET FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING A
CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, GLENN W. SCHROEDER and LOLABELLEMAE SCHROEDER
have executed a deed dated September 6, 1968, conveying to the
City of Santa Ana a parcel of real property on the north side
of First Street, west of Ross Street, for which the City is
paying a cash consideration of $11,000; said transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 55805-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, NICK J. LADAS and CAROL D. LADAS have executed
a deed dated September 23, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa
Ana a parcel of real property on the north side of First Street
and the east side of Van Ness Avenue, for which the City is
paying a cash consideration of $14,700; said transaction is to
be handled through Escrow No. 55882-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of October, 1968.
