CENTER PURPOSES FOR WI4ICH THE CITY IS PAYING
A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, ROWAN B. McKENNA and EUNICE McKENNA have executed
a deed dated August 22, 1968, conveying to the City a parcel of
real property on the west side of Parton Street, south of Fourth
Street, for which the City is paying a cash consideration of
$15,550; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 55825-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES R. FOX and SHI9T~Y R. FOX have executed a
deed dated August 22, 1968, conveying to the City a parcel of real
property on the north side of Third Street and the west side of
Parton Street, for which the City is paying a cash consideration
of $27,000; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No.
55827-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
