DEDICATION FROM INTERSTATE BAKERIES CORPORATION
ON THE WEST SIDE OF MAIN STREET, NORTH OF ROE
DRIVE, WITH NO CASH CONSIDEP~ATION
Wq4EREAS, INTERSTATE BAKERIES CORPORATION, a Delaware
corporation, has executed an Offer of Dedication dated September 12,
1968, by which document they offer to dedicate to the City of Santa
Ana for street purposes on the west side of Main Street and the
north side of Roe Drive the following described property in the city
of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of california:
The Westerly 8.00 feet of the Easterly 19.00 feet of those
portions of Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Block A of Tract No. 511, as
shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 18, Page 29 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County, together with a
spandrel shaped parcel of land over a portion of said Lot 3
bounded Easterly by the Westerly line of said Westerly 8.00
feet and bounded Southerly by the Southerly line of said Lot 3
and bounded Northwesterly by a curve concave Northwesterly
having a radius of 25.00 feet and being tangent to said
Westerly and Southerly boundaries;
and
WHEREAS, this offer of dedication is without cash considera-
tion being paid to said grantor and shall expire on September 12,
1978, unless the dedication has been previously accepted by the
City and is subject to the further condition that such offer can
only be effective and accepted by the City if and when the existing
building located on the above described real property is voluntarily
removed by the grantor, its successors or assigns, within the above
10-year duration of the offer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
hereby accepts said Offer of Dedication, and Carl J. Thornton, the
city's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of
Acceptance on said Offer of Dedication.
