ZONING ADMINISTRATOR AND DENYING A VARIANCE ON
VARIANCE APPLICATION 68-70 FILED BY JOSEPH SOLOMON
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Zoning Admini-
strator granted a variance on Variance Application 68-70 filed by
JOSEPH SOLOMON to permit the construction of a building in a non-
conforming automobile wrecking year on property located at 4526
West Fifth Street, Santa Ana, California, in an A-1 District; and
WHEREAS, Appeal Applications 212 and 213 were duly filed by
CECIL S. BLINN and OCCIDENTAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION,
respectively, both of which said applications appealed the Zoning
Administrator's approval of said Variance Application 68-70 and
presented the matter to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after public hearings on notice,
has determined that the decision of the Zoning Administrator should
be overruled and that Appeal Applications 212 and 213 should be
granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Appeal Applications
212 and 213, filed by CECIL S. BLINN and OCCIDENTAL SAVINGS AND
LOAN ASSOCIATION,respectively, are hereby granted; that the decision
of the Zoning Administrator is hereby overruled; and Variance
Application 68-70 is hereby DENIED.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of 0ctober, 1968.~
