WIDENING OF FIRST STREA*f FOR WHICH THE CITY
IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, JESSIE M. ROBB, a widow, has executed a deed dated
September 27, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana a parcel of
real property on the north side of First Street, west of Birch, for
which the City is paying a cash consideration of $25,000; said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 55822-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, J. R. ALLEN and VIRGINIA ALLEN, husband and wife, have
executed a deed dated September 27, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa
Ana a parcel of real property on the north side of First Street, west
of Ross, for which the City is paying a cash consideration of $22,400;
said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 55890-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby author-
ized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa Ana accepts
said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is
directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of October, 1968.
