CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, the DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA and DONALD KEITHCUMBERWORTH and SHIRLEY F. CUMBERWORTH,
husband and wife, have executed a deed dated December 4, 1968,
conveying to the City of Santa Ana a permanent easement for sani-
tary sewer main purposes southeast of Park Lane and Jonquil Road,
for which the City is paying a cash consideration of 9350.00; also
granting a temporaz~ construction easement at said location (until
September 30, 1969); said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 55995-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa
Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deed; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of January, 1969.
