SYCAMORE STREET, BETWEEN SIXTH AND EIGHTH STREETS,
IN CENTRAL PARKING DISTRICT "A", AND REMOVING MID-
BLOCK CROSSWALK ON SYCAMORE STREET, BETWEEN SIXTH
AND EIGHTH STREETS
WHEREAS, there presently exist on Sycamore Street, between
Sixth and Eighth Streets, yellow curb markings on both sides of
Sycamore Street and a crosswalk across Sycamore Street between
Sixth and Eighth Streets; said curb markings and crosswalk having
been established pursuant to Council resolution; and
WHEREAS, the need for said curb markings and crosswalk no
longer exists by reason of the removal of the jail and courthouse
from said location;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the yellow curb marking
on the west side of Sycamore Street from 122 feet to 203 feet south
of the center line of Eighth Street, and on the east side of Sycamore
Street from 175 feet to 250 feet south of the center line of Eighth
Street ahd the crosswalk, across SycamOre Street between Sixth and
Eighth Streets shall be removed pursuant to this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of February, 1969.
