EXPANSION OF CABRILLO PARK FOR WHICH THE
CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, THE CHURCH OF THE MESSIAH, a religious corporation,
has executed a deed dated March 21, 1969, conveying to the city of
Santa Ana real property on the south side of Fruit Street and the
east side of Sherry Lane, for park purposes, for which the city is
paying a cash consideration of $106,700; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 56251-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deed, and Carl J. Thornton, the city's designated
agent is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the city of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of April, 1969.
