THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the city
of Santa Ana an easement for road purposes on the south side of
Alton Avenue, west of Halladay Street to Newport Freeway; and
WHEREAS BORG-WARI~ER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the City
of Santa Ana an easement for slope purposes on the south side of
Alton Avenue, east of Standard Avenue; and
WHEREAS BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the City
of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on Standard Avenue,
south of Alton Avenue; and
WHEREAS BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the City
of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes west of Standard
Avenue, south of Halladay Street; and
WHEREAS BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the City
of Santa Ana an easement for drainage purposes south of Standard
Avenue, west of Newport Freeway; and
WHEREAS BORG-WARNER CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation,
has executed a deed dated April 15, 1969, conveying to the city
of Santa Ana an easement for sewer purposes south of Halladay
Street, Standard Avenue to Columbine Street; and
WHEREAS, LESTER ELBERT and VIVIAN ELBERT, husband and wife,
SIDNEY PENN and BARBARA PENN, husband and wife, and ERNEST ROSS
and DELORACE ROSS, husband and wife, have executed a deed dated
April 29, 1969, conveying to the City of Santa Ana vehicular access
rights to the east side of Fairview Street, north of McFadden
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT F. BUCHHEIM, a married man; ERNIE A.
BUCI{HEIM, a married man; FRANCES C. THOMPSON, a married woman,
formerly FRANCES C. ZIMMERMAN, a married woman and formerly
FRANCES C. VALENTINE, a married woman; MINNIE L. NILSON, a married
woman; ANNIE M. BUCHHEIM, ROBERT F. BUCHHEIM, FRANCES C. THOMPSON,
formerly FRANCES C. VALENTINE, and ERNIE A. BUCHHEIM, as Trustees
under the will of FRANK J. BUCHHEIM, deceased with full power to
sell and convey, have executed a deed dated April 22, 1969, convey-
ing to the city of Santa Aha an easement for street purposes on
the north side of Seventeenth Street, Mabury Street to Sherry Lane;
Mabury Street, Seventeenth Street to north of Eighteenth Street;
WHEREAS, said deeds are without cash consideration being
paid to said grantors by the City of Santa Ana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the city of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and the Clerk of the Council is directed to
cause said deeds together with a copy of this resolution to be
recorded in the office of the County Recorder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the city of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of May, 1969.
