REPORT OF STREET SUPERINTENDENT, APPROVING
REPORT, AND ORDERING A COPY THEREOF FILED
WITH THE COUNTY AUDITOR
WHEREAS, Part 4 of Chapter 8, Article III of the Santa Ana
Municipal Code provides for the elimination by the City of noxious
growth, such as weeds, vines, brush or shrubs growing upon private
property when such growth is considered to constitute a fire menace;
and
WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent, the properly designated
official responsible for the abatement of said nuisance, has filed
his written report indicating the costs for said abatement; and
WHEREAS, the 4th day ~f August, 1969, at 7:30 P.M., was
fixed as the time, and the Council Chambers at 500 West 6th Street,
Santa Aha, california, as the place, where any and all persons
interested in stating their protests or objections to the report
of the Street Superintendent might be heard, proper notice having
been given; and
WHEREAS, at the time set, the Street Superintendent submitted
his report and all protests and objections to said report were
heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That all of said protests
and objections to the report of the Street Superintendent of the
work done be, and the same are, hereby overruled;
BE ST FURTHER RESOLVED: That the report of the Street
Superintendent, Exhibit I hereto attached, is hereby affirmed and
that the Street Superintendent be, and he is hereby directed to
file a copy of said report with the Auditor of the County of Orange
on or before August 10, 1969.
