FROM FERMAN AND CONCEPCION ALARCON FOR WHICH THE
CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, FERMAN ALARCON and CONCEPCION ALARCON, husband
and wife, have executed an Offer of Dedication dated July 23, 1969,
by which document they offer to dedicate to the city of Santa Ana
for street purposes on the north side of Fifth Street, east of
Jackson Street the following described property in the city of
Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California:
The Northerly 9.00 feet of the Southerly 12.00 feet
of Lot 2 in Tract 447 in the city of Santa Ana, as
shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 17, Page 12
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
california;
and
WHEREAS, this offer of dedication is without cash considera-
tion being paid to said grantors; and
WHEREAS, as one of the considerations for the Grantor
giving to the Grantee the within Offer of Dedication, the Grantee,
City of Santa Ana, does hereby agree as follows:
1. That it will not accept said Offer of Dedication until
the existing building within said offer is demolished, removed or
relocated;
2. That it will give Grantor a six months' written notice
prior to any acceptance of said Offer of Dedication;
3. This Offer of Dedication shall expire on August 4, 1979,
unless the dedication has been previously accepted by the City
of Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the city of Santa Ana
hereby accepts said Offer of Dedication, and Carl J. Thornton, the
City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of
Acceptance on said Offer of Dedication.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of August, 1969.
