OF FIRST STREET FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING A
CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, CARRIE EVELYN WILLIS and JAMES FRANKLIN WILLIS
have executed a deed dated August 8, 1969, conveying to the City
of Santa Ana real property located on the north side of First
Street, east of Shelton Street, the south 40 feet thereof to
be used for street and highway purposes, for which the City is
paying a cash consideration of $14,550.00. The transaction is
to be handled through escrow numbered 56599-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT C. KORFF, a widower, has executed a deed
dated August 19, 1969, conveying to the City of Santa Ana real
property located on the north side of First Street, w~st of
Van Ness Avenue, the south 40 feet thereof to be used for street
and highway purposes, for which the City is paying a cash con-
sideration of $20,000.00. The transaction is to be handled
through escrow numbered 56622-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, LORENE JASPER has executed a deed dated
August 19, 1969, conveying to the City of Santa Ana real prop-
erty located on the north side of First Street, west of Ross
Street to be used for street and highway purposes, for which the
City is paying a cash consideration of $9,500.00. The transaction
is to be handled through escrow numbered 56626-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the City of
Santa Ana accepts said deeds, and the Clerk of the Council is
directed to cause said deeds together with a copy of this
Resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of September, 1969.
