RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND
ESTIMATE OF COST
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 236
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana, State of California, in regular session assembled,
that the Director of Public Works of said City of Santa Ana
be and he hereby is authorized and directed to prepare plans
and specifications, and an estimate of costs, for the con-
struction and installation of:
Planting islands, with planters, sidewalks, curb and gutters, an
ornamental electric lighting system, an electrically controlled
and operated irrigation supply and distribution system, tree
wells, raised concrete planters, trees, plants, and shrubs, pre-
cast concrete benches and trash receptacles, aggregate and epoxy
coating on all sidewalks, kiosks with mail boxes, newspaper
dispensers and telephones, together with appurtenances and
appurtenant work, in Fourth Street between Ross Street and Spurgeon
Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that proceedings for such work
shall be taken in accordance with the provisions of the Improvement
Act of 1911 under a resolution of intention to be hereafter adopted.
ADOPTED the 3rd day of November, 1969.
