HomeMy WebLinkAbout70-075RESOLUTION 70-75 AMENDING THE PUBLIC SERVICES AND FACILITIES ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, on February 21, 1966, the City of Santa Ana adopted a general plan for the future physical development of the City; and WHEREAS, the Santa Ana Planning Commission has now determined that the Public Service and Facilities Element of the General Plan should be amended to reflect an addition to Local Drainage Area IX, said addition to include the area east of Bear Street, south of Alton Street, north of Sunflower Avenue, west of the F-2 Orange County Flood Control Channel; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby approves and adopts the recommendation of the Santa Ana Planning Commission to reflect an addition to Local Drainage Area IX, said addition to include the area east of Bear Street, south of Alton Street, north of Sunflower Avenue, west of the F-2 Orange County Flood Control Channel; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the official General Plan map depicting Public Service and Facilities Elements shall be amended by depicting the addition to Local Drainage Area IX as above described; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That in accordance with Section 27-17 of Chapter 27 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code the said proposal is hereby adopted. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 8th day of September, 1970.
